god’s dreamhouse floor
s m van de kamp
god’s dreamhouse floor
must be littered
with a lot of light, a lot of
expensive skincare products
and $500 earrings
strewn with uber black drivers
in nervous performance
with a germaphobe
here on earth i’m so tired
i can’t work
instead i deepclean the bathroom
in penance or purgatory
scrub away piss and
little black hairs from the toilet
only to puke in it the next day
too many tequila shots
is the morning after ever holy?
at least the bowl was clean
sit on my face fuck me
wait what happened
last night?
what is on the floor?
on splintered wood sits
the headless pigeon
i put on the curb last week
a small scratch from a cat,
that murderess, and my tight voice
i’m dead for the day but tomorrow
i’ll be alive
