      half creature 

brain is static and eyes are fuzzy and i’ll never have impact

everything exists beat by beat and i’m sure i’m not real

i was once, but not anymore.

God called me on my iPhone on the way to see Beyoncé 

to tell me to forget about impact or feeling unreal

said she’s going to sing a song and you’re going to see it

and maybe you’ll believe in me finally.
